City Football Group today announced a collaboration with Blue United Corporation, the owners and operators of the FIFA Esports Blue United eFC team in Japan.

Blue United eFC are the current FIFA Champions of Asia and have qualified for three of the last four FIFAe World Cups, breaking industry records, and were crowned Champions of the FIFA World Cup FIFAe 2021 clubs in the East Asia zone.

They are ranked in the top five in the world and are made up of two professional players, Agu and Tsakt, who are considered among the top talents in the game of football by industry pundits and the media.

The new collaboration is the latest activity within the City Football Group esports space and will see Blue United eFC players being “powered by CFG” as they continue their participation in the FIFA 22 Global Series. Blue United eFC will also participate on behalf of Yokohama F.Marinos in the Japanese eJLeague.

As part of the activity, Blue United will wear new official sky blue game kits which will feature the CFG logo.

Blue United talent will also take part in a number of CFG and affiliate fan events, in addition to creating bespoke esports and gaming content.
