HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – Motor vehicle stops on Route 206 and other township roads continue to result in charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Those who have been charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

May 2, 2021 – Sandra Briganti, 47, of Hillsborough has been arrested and charged with possession of drug accessories and failing to lawfully dispose of a controlled dangerous substance after being pulled over by police on Eves Drive. She also received subpoenas for lack of track maintenance, maintenance of lights and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. She was treated and released with a court date.

May 2 – Matthew Furtado, 27, of Marlborough, Mass., And Tyler Harmon, 26, of Waterbury, Connecticut, were charged with trespassing after police determined they entered an abandoned house on Woods Road. They were summoned to the scene and released with a court date.

May 6 – Tsepiso Mendez, 21, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with obstructing apprehension after providing a false name to police investigating a brawl complaint in Ann Van Middlesworth Park. He was charged and turned over to the Manville Police Department on their warrant.

May 13 – Anthony Hudson, 37, of Hillsborough was arrested and charged with impaired driving after police received a complaint about a motor vehicle from a reckless driver. He was also charged with two counts of failure to produce documents. He was released with a court date.

May 14 – Lisa Ganjoin, 60, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with impaired driving following a motor vehicle crash in the Quickchek parking lot. She was also charged with reckless driving and failure to submit to chemical breathing tests. She was released with a court date.

May 14 – Bianka Suarez-Hidalgo, 20, of Bridgewater was arrested and charged with impaired driving after police responded to the intersection of Warwick Drive and South Triangle Road for a welfare check . She was also charged with reckless driving and reckless driving. She was released with a court date.

May 15 – Armando Sciortino, 22, of Branchburg was arrested and charged with impaired driving following a car crash on Route 206. He was also charged with reckless driving and disobedience of the way. He was released with a court date.

May 29 – Anand Parekh, 27, from Edison was arrested and charged with impaired driving after being stopped by police on Route 206. He was also charged with excessive speeding, reckless driving, reckless driving, disobedience of the lane, refusal to breathe Samples and failure to present documents. He was released with a court date.
