The value of four mid-cap altcoins has skyrocketed over the past week as most of the market corrects.

The native assets of the Elrond broadband blockchain (EGLD) project are trading at $ 288.91 at the time of writing, according to CoinGecko – up 60% last week.

Last week, EGLD became available for purchase in the United States by credit card directly from Maiar, Elrond’s non-custodial digital wallet app.

Elrond also reached a market cap of $ 5 billion for the first time over the weekend, and EGLD was listed on the KuCoin world exchange on Monday.

Next is the decentralized public network Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR). HBAR is trading at $ 0.469678 at the time of writing and is up over 50% last week.

The Hedera network grew from 21 to 22 nodes during a mainnet upgrade last week.

Near is an open source public blockchain, proof of stake. Its native asset, NEAR, is trading at $ 8.84 at the time of writing and is up 44.6% in the past seven days.

Near was running a hackathon until September 12 that brought new developers to the protocol community, according to the project’s website.

The Mina protocol is a lightweight blockchain project. MINA is trading at $ 5.97 at the time of writing and is up 42.8% on the week.

The project announced an integration with Polygon last week.
